Best described as a thudding sound...

Hi,

I'm still trying to resolve and issue I have with the back end of my car. The solution suggested last time I posted this query has not worked.

The problem.

If the car is running and stationary and I engage first gear and left the clutch up quick to the bitting point the car thuds at the back end.

Same goes if I'm moving along at 30mph in second and I go on and off throttle. The rear end thuds on throttle.

The suggestion last time was "worn shocks or springs". Both have been removed and checked and some different used standard shocks have been put back on. The problem remains.

I've not owned a Pulsar for that long so I'm still learning about the set up.

Any ideas??

Pulsarboby,

Thanks for your suggestion. Could you be more specific of what to look for when I'm under the car.

How much play is ok etc.
