It's a pity you can't park it up somewhere and SORN it...

You could fit it in a 30' sea container and just lock it up; good for keeping other possessions in too, but it's not free (it's not that expensive either).
If it's a matter of storage, maybe somebody will come to your rescue with an empty garage or yard.
You might need the cash though... which means selling-up.
