Just got my pulsar back on the road after doing almost all of the impossible jobs to it.

AP's are AWESOME! would recommend them to anyone who's bought a pulsar and is used to better brakes on other cars like I was. Only problem is you can feel all the bushes etc taking abuse when you let the middle pedal have some.

I put in a second hand gearbox (which I stripped and inspected) and one of those techniclutch clutches off ebay. Had to skim anout .15mm off the flywheel as I'd had a problem with oil from the rear crank seal which wrecked the clutch face.

Put silkolene oil in and have had problems with it being stiff going in and out of gears. No air in clutch and plenty of travel but am having to match the revs for a smooth change.

I noticed the bushes are pretty knackered in the gear linkages. Is there any reason why I shouldn't make solid nylon bushes?
