idling Low

Hi i got a problem with the R, my car is idling very low just above 0 rpm. :shocked: I was wondering could the ignition system is failing like the coil?? and also with the car idling low i realised its running rich on fuel.

Any help???

an air leak would up the tickover

The tickover goes down as well as black smoke comes out of the exhaust when an intercooler pipe pops off.

i thought it would be the plug that were worned out and have been replaced with ngk platiums. Still no answer why is it idling low. When i start the car it idles normal then short matter of time it drop in rpm.
