Block needs cutting/modding where the starter attaches apparently, custom flywheel, custom gearbox mounts, custom driveshafts, prop and linkages, custom adaptor plate between box and block so the box bolts up, then whatever you need to get the haldex working etc etc, Deffo not a bolt on mod if thats what you were thinking mate, for the work thats involded you could fit any box you desire, the same amount of work will be involved.

the haldex system off a generation1 TT is mostly biased to the front wheels . With the right aftermarket mods, you can bring it to a 50/50 bias front/rear. Probably the main advantage of this box is the strength of the casing and good for those who like FWD cars.
If it were to be opposite like the GTR's, it would be more biased to the rear. A local guy has this box on his drag Escort Mk1 mated to a ford cosworth engine. He has some kind of electronic gizmo which activates AWD for lunch and upon gaining traction it slowly shifts all the power to the Rear wheels. Pity this box is a longitudinal type

From what i read on the sale post , he spent 2ishK doing it all !still needing a very few minor bits.
But thats only the same money as a quaffe , but you get a 6 speed box and also the ability to varie the power front/rear!
Some of the more advanced haldex controllers would alllow you to launch 4wd then move the power to the front once moving , would be great on the strip.
I was really after the box but just missed out lol!
