hi all.
well recently my car has started to miss, usualy when cold, but now is doing it when hot.
last time driven, it took 5 seconds to get to 3500rpm down a hill ,thats how bad it is.
SO I HAVE JUST ORDERED THE FOLLOWING PARTS.
LEADS
DISTRIBUTER CAP
ROTOR BUTTON
FUEL FILTER
WATER TEMP SENSOR
NOW THE LEADS AND DIST CAP SHOULD BE EASY TO FIT. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ROTOR BUTTON AND WATER TEMP SENSOR. ARE THESE EASY TO FIT FOR SOMEONE THATS MECHANICLY USLESS.....
AND WHERE IS THE WATER TEMP SENSOR, SITUATED
ALS DO I HAVE TO RESET TIMMING AFTER INSTALLING THE ROTOR BUTON?????

THANKS lUKE

I've never touched the water temp sensor, but it should be straight forward. (I think it's on the rear of the engine on the pulley end?)
The rotor arm has a small grub screw holding it on and is very easy to change. You don't need to touch the timing after doing it.

The fuel filter may be a pain if it's very old as the rubber hoses seem to weld themselves in place over the years :?
