I had a set of Apexi lowering springs on my Rasheen which I've just replaced with GtiR stock springs. I was after a little more ride height, and there is now a bit too much at the front. About 4cm too much.
So I'm thinking about cutting the springs down. I know some people don't like this idea at all, but I only want to lose 4cm ride height. I can always put the lowering springs back on again if it goes horribly wrong.
Should I aim to chop off 1/2 a coil, one whole coil, etc, from the top, or from the bottom?
