if u install an apexi avc-r do you remove the factory boost solenoid or leave it

Sensible to remove it and let the AVC-R manage everything.

Remove it mate, or unplug it... It's there so the ECU can control boost from 0.5bar (when cold or a fault) to the standard 0.7bar when warmed up.
The AVC-R's solanoid replaces this.
