I might be wrong but i thought full throttle gearshift kits were for cars with no rev limiter so you could change gear with your foot flat to the floor without revving the engine too high.
I used to do full throttle gear changes all the time when i had my astra gte 16v just keep the gas pedal flat to the floor when changing gear :shock:
I'd never do it in my GTI-R though out of respect for the gearbox, they're not the strongest boxes in the world. I only used to do it in the gte cos i knew the boxes take loads of abuse before they give up, dosen't do the syncro's in the gearbox much good either
