Went to have a look at a audi s3 1.8t today i was shocked at how bad a 10 year old example had rusted.

bubble rust all over bottom of rear window and top of the rear side windows

Was a real shame as the rest of the car was very good condition had full audi service history as well so was well looked after.

Needless to say i will never moan about the rust on nissan again lol

They were one of the 1st companies to offer 10 year anti corrosion warranties too.Most of them seem well built and hold their money well.

That sounds pretty bad, was the car near the sea? Are you still looking for an Audi, only I had one for about three months and just couldn't get on with it, luckily mate offered to buy it and I couldn't say no! He then had it remapped and it was like a different car, if you do get one, get a remap, I wish I'd done that now, although I might never have bought an R!
