aluminum lower front arms

Ive noticed most new evo`s and scoobs have ali front lower arms. I guess this would save a fair bit of weight. Would it be worth doing ? and how much do u think it would cost? cheers nis.

Forge might be the best people to ask but don't count on it being cheap

For one off wishbones you'd pay a fortune with no guarentee they'll last.I'd like some but thery're way down the list.

its to make the unsprung weight lower so the shocks and suspension can do its job better!

it was just an idea as im looking to lose more weight and have done all the obivous.

i work in a machine shop and the amount of labour that would go into something like that would be very high, you would end up paying an arm and a leg, jeff
