Installed some new digital gauges last week including an intake temp sensor.I noticed that when i had driven for a while and then parked up for,say,30 to 40 mins that the intake temps were very high(obviously heat soak in the FMIC pipes),and after starting to drive again they took quite a while to drop :!: So since my aircon had no gas in since i bought the car,i decided to ditch it :shock: Since removing the aircon rad(from in front of the FMIC)it has made a huge difference to the intake temperatures :shock: They now drop to suitable levels within a couple of minutes!So if you have your aircon rad in front of your FMIC like me,then you might be better off removing it :!: :!: :!:

Is there a guide anywhere to removing the aircon system?
Mine needs regassing and to be honest I cant be bothered as I wouldnt use it much anyhow.
