Aircon question (r12/r123a)

i know allot of you guys ditch the aircon but for those who still have theres what gas are you running? am i right in saying that pulsars use R12 gas? (banned now) if so has anyone had they system converted to run on R123a? just wanted to know whats involved? i heard that the caps need to be changed due to new ones being different to stop mixing the two if that makes sence?

I'm pretty sure you need to have the old gas vented in an environmentally friendly way, and get it refilled with the new one; I'm surprised that it hasn't already been done on your car. Mine has stickers for the conversion even though the air con is long gone.

It's R134a, which by the end of the year will also be banned in all new cars.
