Im just about to get a pod to replace the standard air box and was curious about a couple things:
- Is there an optimum length for the pod to turbo tube or is the general rule the shorter the better?
- Is the cold air induction part included as being part of this tube as it extends the length from where the turbo sucks from atmo?
If length is "the shorter the better" then would it be better to have the pod placed (with heat shield & air scoop/bellmouth) only 30cm from the turbo down near the gearbox etc instead of lengthening the inlet all the way through the left hand guard down to the brake duct?
If anyone has photos of a filter in this position it would be great to have a look. Also i'd be curious what the comparison between inlet temps would be on average - bit of a cost benefit analysis really...
