ive been trying to decide whether to bin the air con at same time as i fit my front mount intercooler but i keep thinking what if i miss the air con? ideally i would like to keep all the features on my car but it would be a much tidier simpler engine bay without the air con, has anyone done this and regretted it or is it the way to go, also if i decide to get rid of it does it affect my heater in any way?

if you just remove the engine bay bits your heater will still work

I bought the Forge front mount intercooler and still kept my aircon. 
It depends on where you want to go with your car? I'm heading for 1.1 bar and until I go further I may as well keep the aircon. Its great for keeping cool on long motorway journeys 8)
Besides the Forge kit is excellent at keeping your aircon; the intercooler sits lower and air still flows well behind it.
