air chamber??

Hi, i've just bought my first GtiR, its a UK spec one. It was taken off the road 5 five years ago and had engine work done by Tommy Field (think he was/is a cosworth tuner?!?) the car was then just left. My friend purchased it and started to get it running, there were a few sensors missing etc. I then bought it off him. The engine runs but i need to tidy the engine bay up. There are hoses left of etc..

I need to know where the pipe from the rocker cover (oil cap end) goes??

Also is the black box (think its called air chamber) at the back of inlet manifold needed on the UK spec?? Also what does it do if needed?

Any help woul be appreciated,

cool. thanks. the pipe above that one, the one that turns to metal over the top of the inlet. is that power steering?
