advise on set up

Got a few questions that iam unable to find on the search section.

Iam currently building my engine up at the moment to a half decent spec (in my eyes lol) but iam not able at this time to fork out 3k on a box.

My questions are with the spec iam using will i be able to use it at 1bar of boost and it still drive nice and be quick till ive got a box sorted?.

Hks head gasket are 87mm but my bores are still 86mm is that a big no no! as cant seem to find a hks 86mm?
dont want the cosworth one or the comtic versions.

Arp head bolts or oem ones?

Will a nistune be fine for my spec?

Last one are brain crower ti valve springs and retainers any good?

Heres the spec that i plan to use-

wiesco pistons,
acl bearings std size,
arp rod bolts,
hks 3037,
pro race huge fmic,
Stainless manifold,
tial 38mm external waste gate,
jun 272 cams,
walbro,
alloy filter pipe,
hks filter,
catch can,
steve pundey pvc blanked off,
uprated clutch,
5zigen cat back,
carbin canister dumped,
hks ssqv,
brc8es pugs,

Still to purchese-
Vernier pulleys,
larger injectors 550-700cc
z32maf,
valve springs and retainers
oil cooler,

Everything else on the biuld is oem parts from nissan.:)

Any help/ideas would be great

Iam currently building my engine up at the moment to a half decent spec (in my eyes lol) but iam not able at this time to fork out 3k on a box. YOUR GEARBOX WILL NOT LAST LONG, WHY NOT SAVE UP AND DO IT IN ONE GO OR JUST KEEP BUYING 2ND HAND BOXES AND MAP THE CAR TO 1.4-1.6 BAR?

My questions are with the spec iam using will i be able to use it at 1bar of boost and it still drive nice and be quick till ive got a box sorted?. AT 1 BAR THE CAR WILL FEEL FLAT WITH YOUR SPEC AS IT WILL NOT BE MAKING MUCH MORE TORQUE THAN STANDARD AND THE POWER WILL BEL ALOT HIGHER IN THE REV'S

put some more faith in the stock box, buy a spare one and if the one you have eventualy goes then you may have the casing needed to put a different gearset in if you want to go that ruite, or just keep buying boxes

i was hoping to get it all back together run it in and have it mapped then save the money up as would take a while before i could afford a decent gear set,
My box has never had more than standard boost run threw it so iam hoping its quite a good one lol,

fUEL PUMP? walbro 255
fUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR? standard.


either never heard of a vipec mapp.

will the hks head gasket not work?

if i scrap the 1bar idea and raise it to 1.4 that should be ok!
