actuator rod adjustment

do i need to take the turbo off the car to shorten the actuator rod.
or whats the best way to adjust it.

If you've got the standard manifold then its unlikey you will be able to adjust it without removing the turbo.

yes.. well i think so,

i havnt done or tried it myself but the lad i bought my car off had done it and he said he'd took the turbo off.

done it today just pulled the manifold forward and removed the oil outlet was quite easy . then removed the actuator.
