Actuator boost source

Its just a standard Joby with the tee piece and pipe laid across the turbo .
So that's what it looks like when you're using the standard boost solenoid? I could never understand which T-piece people were on about.

Is there technically an advantage in taking it off the compressor side in that it's a more accurate reading, and not prone to losses from the rest of the pipework? I'm sure I've seen places selling kits to tap a nipple onto the turbo.

Ive done a few google searches and it seems its best to take the boost control source from close to the turbo as the longer lines to the plenum can cause boost spike, on the other hand its better to take a boost reading from close to the t/b's as there can be a pressure drop through the intercooler.
