Anyone remember the old Rockford punch amps? always came with a birth sheet with a heavily downrated but could bang like a sh"thouse door?

I'm thinking putting state of the art audio into a car of this vintage is just tacky, so I'm planning on a nice little setup:

Alpine Phantom face CDA7969r with parametric EQ.
Focal Utopia components up front.
DD Designs 9912 or similar.
Rockford Punch retro around 600 watts.
4 channel Genesis amp bridged into front components.

Lots of sound deadening, doors, roof, boot

Anyone got any preferences or favourites on this older audio gear? Not looking for anything like MP3, just decent SQ...

If anyone has anything of this vintage for sale, PM me?

ta!

I had a nice setup in my first gtir infinity kappa :)
front door speakers with crossovers and amp hidden behind dash
Infinity kappa 6x9's with amp under spare wheel
And a 400w amp with 12" Rockford sub
cost a bomb
and had nackamitci ( can't spell it ) cd head unit

sounded amazing loud if you wanted but clear as a bell
when I get a system fitted sound quality is a must.!!
