my car has to tic over for about 4 mins be for it will go into gear.....does this happen to any one else ????
rubbish gearbox oil is too viscous to lubricate properly when cold.
if you put some redline mt90 in there it will work from cold.
You might want to investigate the health of your clutch, and the master/ slave cylinder, clutch fluid etc.. do asearch.. cause if the clutch is not disengaging properly and dragging, for whatever reason.. it might be the underlying problem

I would go for that, check the associated gearbox / clutch parts for wear etc then change the box oil, easily done if youve never done it before.
I use Millers Oils for all my oils, engine, gearbox and diff, although diff is yet to be done lol, looks like the previous owner liked nuts on their car to be extremely tight :roll: looks like the tommy bars coming out lol :twisted:
