For sale is my beloved GTiR, only for sale as I’m needing money for a house!
Car has done 84000 miles, I bought it when it had done 56000, been serviced every 3-5k with miller CFS 10w60 and genuine nissan oil filters, will just have been serviced before sale. Oil pressure is always good and gets to 6 bar on start up, hovers around or just under 4 bar in normal driving. it was mapped to 1.2 bar boost and put out 312bhp on john nobles rolling road in chesterfield, and has always ran faultlessly only ever really using consumables (see below for recent spares replaced). Car was featured in November 2006 JTuner magazine for a feature they were running on modified GTiR’s, however that was not in the cars current spec so would post better times now!
Owners club car. MOT'd til october taxed til june. HPI clear. Got a wad of receipts for it!
It has been modified with
ARC topmount intercooler (rare!)
Turbo Technics hybrid turbo
K&N LARGE filter (evo 6 conversion?)
Mongoose turbo back exhaust with 5" tip
HKS SSQV
APEXI SAFC 2 (in carbon surround in dash)
GReddy Profec B (blue edition)
Walbro upgraded fuel pump
SARD 550cc injectors
Colder grade NGK plugs
Apexi white faced boost gauge
Lockwood white dials
Redline MT90 gearbox oil
Tanabe sustec suspension
League bandit 15" wheels with toyos all round (good tread)
It had its MOT in october and at that time it had replaced:
Passenger driveshaft (drivers done earlier in year both due to CV joints going dry)
New passenger wishbone/bottom ball joint (all one piece)
New brake lines throughout
New handbrake cable
New discs and pads on all four corners (the station put standard ones on unfortunately as I was uncontactable to ask what to do, but I have TAR OX pads waiting to go on the front)
I myself have given it the following items in my ownership too:
New turbo oil lines
New belts
New dizzy/leads/rotor cap
Clutch pedal support bracket
New water pump
It has had the rear arches completely cut out and replaced when rust set in, unfortunately there is a slight bubble appearing on the passenger side rear now (work was done a few years ago now) but it is fresh metal, so will only be surface and easily treated. (Had a new drivers front wing at the same time due to a car park knock.) I could suggest that the drivers door hinges need refreshing, but I have them in my toolbox but never got round to fitting them (will chuck them in of course!). Bodywork is good for a car of this year, the bumper and mirrors have got light scratches on as you would expect of a car of this age, but when polished and waxed it looks spanking if I do say so myself!!
it comes with a Clifford cat 1 alarm with lots of features and a Sony cdxm8800 head unit, also has the original pulsar mats (quite rare too!). The interior is in good condition, seats, door cards and carpets have zero rips or tears and only usual wear as you’d expect. When in Japan it must have had things attached to the dash because there are a few marks on it but nothing massive.
I have been very honest on this advert and will gladly provide any photos requested of the car, and viewing is more than welcome but no test pilots. You drive when you buy!
