215x40x17 on 7.5J rims?

I've ordered my new wheels, Rota Boost, 7.5J x 17. They're a 45 offset, so I know I'll have to run 3mm spacers to get the offset within acceptable limits.

I have a couple of 215x40x17 Toyos sat behind my shed. I'm wondering whether to order a complete set of 205s or just order two 215s to go with the two I already have.

Thoughts on running with 215s anyone? Will 215s fit a 7.5J rim better than 205s anyway?

I'm on 215s but on a /35/16. I'd have gone for a lower offset if I were you. My 7x16s are a 33ish (never can remember:oops: )

It might be worth checking if your 215s will fit without catching the struts or inner wheel arch on full lock and if all is well get another 2, otherwise get 4 205s.

Unfortunately, 45 offset was the only one they did that fit the R's stud pattern. Thanks for your advice though mate, may well check to see if one fits and then get the rest, probably the safest way.
