2 problems

hey guys hoping someone can shed some light on this for me
2 problems
1st is im noticing a bit of oil in my intercooler and pipe coming up from the turbo side
any ideas
i do know my oil level in the engine is slightly over full

also when starting the car i get a fluttering/ rubbing sound for literrally a few seconds at 1st i thought it was my cooler pipes rubbing on my strut brace but turns out it wasnt
any suggestions
??

Alright mate,

I had a simialr problem on my car with the oil being in the intercooler. Mine was due to the seals being away on the turbo. You should notice an oily smell from the exhaust and also a bit of coulor in the fumes to.

Not to sure about the 2nd one mate.

will also add my car has been stationary in the shed for a few months with the occasional startup and let it tick over for a while

You can get a gradual build up of oil in the interwarmer over time that is nothing to worry about so long as it's not loads of oil in a very short time and you're not putting out loads of blue smoke.

For the 2nd prob,it sounds like you need someone else to start it up for you ;-)
