1.5 bar, why??????

Hi everyone, RIGHT, about 3 weeks ago i looped the boost solonoid so the car ran 1.0 bar as explained in the HOW TO GUIDE. Its been fine, boosting up to 1.0 bar and holding right through the rev range. So tonight i went out for drive, while driving i thought to myself 'this motor feels faster' and when checking the boost guage it read 1.5 bar. NOT GOOD. Don't think the standard turbo is gonna last long at that boost. I cheked all the pipe work and nothing has come off or come loose. Has anyone got any clue why its doing it. Thanks. :?

Actuator stuck on closed maybe?

Check the actuator Rod see if you can move it at all...

Happened mine actually. Forge Actuator packed in and boosted plenty.... my turbo was on teh way out before that anyway though...

never mind the turbo mate doubt your engine will last that long neither lol

like the above mate, sounds like you may have a split in your actuator pipe, or its come off.

are u sure all the pipes are on corrected plus ur best bet is to put it back to strd boost & go from ther

Check the vacuum pipe under the intercooler (if you still have the topmount fitted) !
