Where does that hose go?!

Hey there everyone!

While trying to install my AVC-R today, I've noticed one hose that is connected onto the intake manifold that has ... nowhere to go!

Could someone please enlighten me and show where does that hose plug into because I'm pretty sure it doesnt help my fuel consumption problem.

Nothing as far as I know. It's just covering an idle adjustment screw I think.

It seems to be connected to the Air Chamber from what I can see in the shop manual ... but that doesnt help me all that much

It is just a cover for the idle control screw.

It has a brass bush on the inside of it, so that when you put a screwdriver in it, it will line up with the slot in the screw.

i think its the idler screw, dunno why it has a bit of rubber hose onit?

think the rubber hose is there to help guide the screwdriver down to it

I took it off - I found it just got in the way trying to get at the idle screw.
