Walbro fuel pump

Is there a specific model number of walbro fuel pump that fits the GTI-R?.
How difficult are they to fit?

there r two types of walbro pumps i believe the only different is how much fuel they will pump per min/hour....do a search there is a fitting guide on ere somewhere

yep 255l/h is the one you want Ste, it's good for 450-500bhp

Yes thats what I mean I do everything on my car and its never easy

To be honest I could have easily done it myself, but I was parked outside Powerstation with 15 minutes to go until the rolling road session and had an experienced mechanic sat on my shoulder itching to do it for me. He'd done a few, so I just left him to it.

once you have ripped the rear seats out an d taken off the parcel shelf its just a case of of disconnecting and unscrewing and then a replacing 15-20 mins job done.

oh by the way dont think about lighting a cigerate half way through

run it low on fuel too.
