I recently took my car to a place called chemix in halesowen (birmingham) the guy who did it was very good i cant recommend him enough really and it only cost £80.They have 2 more centres one in wednesbury and one in stourbridge .

But they want £450 + VAT for a full set up which inc corner weighting, ride height setup and geo. They want £200 + VAT for a geo on its own. I didn't know if the guy's that do track day's had the car's set up by a turner or someone with a good rep.

A place near me that will do the lot, including corner weighting, would charge you £280 inc VAT.

The place I took mine to for a full geometry set up, last time, charged me £92 inc VAT. I was there for about 3 hours and he got every adjustment bang on, within 0.00 of a degree (the lowest resolution the machine goes to!)!

£200 +VAT for the same thing, is daylight robbery !
