Would there be any benefit of putting slightly wider & lower profile tyres on the standard alloys? if so, what would be a good size to go with?

of course their would be benefit no doubt but it would jsut be ebst to get some bigger alloys, low profiles on stocks make the car very low espcially if you got ramps around your streets

It all depends on what tyre size you are running on now?
If you are on 185/60/r14h you could go to 195/55r14v witch would proberbly be better because they are wider and you could proberbly get a better make tyre in that size and i think the v rateing is rated for more speed than the h rated witch is rated for 130 i think.
