sencer on the cat

what is the sencer on the cat for ?? it runs up under the drivers seat ??
what does it do ? car the car be run without it ??

Cat temp sensor and yes it will run without it.

Junk it.

All it does is light up the hot dog light on the dash when the cat gets hot - to warn you not to park over piles of leaves or tramps.

it was just my new decat has not got the hole so i didnt want to mess anythin up be running the car without it

won't do any harm - put it in the new pipe if you like.... then you won't need to find a bolt to block up the hole!
