Sup people I'm looking for a basically standard pulsar so that I can do everything myself that I want to do because some people are putting unwanted parts on theres so I would rather basically start from scratch. I know there basically none out there standard but one close to it would be nice so if any one knows of one drop me a message here and I will get back to asap.

What you're asking is for someone to take after-market parts of their car and sell it to you... so you can put them back on? :rolleyes:

There are still fairly standard cars about, but you pay a premium for that.

You'll be very very very lucky to find one that's not been touched by a cowboy at some point and how would you know anyway if it's had dodgy work at some point...
You'd need to be at £10k plus for one that would even come close to giving you that kind of peace of mind.

That's true but I'm on about people doing their own work and don't know what they are at. Don't mind paying the money if I know what I'm going to get at the end of the day. At least I'm not going to start to drive it home and it goes bang because of some shady work done to it

This is actually more what I meant. - You'll find that most of the "standard" cars weren't standard before someone put them back that way.

It wasn't meant to be wasting anyone's time; it's just an observation about 25 year-old cars. - Even if the last owner had all the work done professionally with receipts to prove it, you don't know what the person before that did.

I would suggest considering/looking at fresh import from japan, lot less messed with cars if got bit of patience & if do uk import registration yourself (easy on old pulsars) you can get a decent car at lowish cost. most stuff in uk been rebuilt more times than a lego set & much like old lego bits are missing, put in wrong & chewed about ...

Probably know alot more about them than some of yous,as use just like to talk wank instead if actually helping like Mr B and POdodY as this will be my 10th one. And done every single thing myself as I am a mechanic with over 15 years experience on high performance cars. Thanks Mr B I will look into that as soon as I can

Sorry we dont do blue peter badges on this forum,we do,do sarcasm and banter,now you came here for advice,we never came to you,you got your knickers in a twist no one else,you do say this will be your tenth one (i gather you mean gtir) but it certainly sounds like your first time on here,an empathetic and respectful attitude to others is something you should of acquired in your 15 years as a mechanic,to me it sounds like it may take a little longer.ha ha
