New Wheels

I got myself a new set of wheels yesterday. got my Goodyear Eagle F1s fitted for a few hundred sore bucks, then took it for a run to test it.

I got flashed over by a BMW owner and told there was smoke coming from the back wheel.

So i went and parked up to have a look at the problem. And it appears that the inside of the NS rear tyre is rubbing on the suspension leg. And now my brand new tyre has taken a licking.

It seemed fairly odd, as the other 3 fitted perfectly.

they are Rota - 205/45/16s, and before hand it was running 205/40/17s the 17s clear perfectly, but the 1 16 rubs like a bastard.

Any ideas? and for the 3-5mm problem would it be beneficial to stick a spacer on the one wheel?

That happend to me in my 106 and turned out to be the stub pin bent on the back axel. Don't know if it'll be the same on the Pulsar though!
