Is their a way to test my fuel pump?

I want to test my fuel pump out of the car?

Test it in diesel if u really need to, wont explode like petrol (Well thats how I test them at work) If you have a pressure gauge attach it to the output.

yeah, check the resistance across it.....should be something like 0.85ohms...if its high, it's goosed!
actual figures can be found in the tech manuals - but i can confirm if needs be!
