Hole by fuel cap

Hi there

Not sure if this is a problem or not but dont know if its on every GTI-R but there is a small hole below my fuel cap, is this normal because when I wash my car and dry round the cap Its seeping through the hole. Is it a drain hole :?:

yes, when i wash my car i also wash in the fuel cap area (with the fuel cap on )
