Help locating Crank Angle & Detonation (knock) Sensor

guys i dont know too much about engines. i did that ecu diagnostic test and it showed that my crank angle and detonation sensor was faulty

the question is where are these located?? in our sr20det gtir??

i think the crank angle sensor is the distributor?? can anyone confirm this?

also is it better to get a new one or get it second hand??

Possibly just a wiring or plug problem rather than the sensors themselves.

Knock/DET sensor is bolted to the block at the back of the engine and is bloody hard to get to (esp with the big Y-braket still in place)

Crank angle sensor is built into the distributor

Check the circuit before you change the sensors
(or take it to an auto elec or a good Nissan service place)

The part of the manual that shows their exact location is "ECCS Component Parts Location" (EF&EC 361)
