Fuel Filter Question ..

How often does the fuel filter need cleaning/replacing guys n girls as my r has been a bit 'juddery' recently and thought it could be this ??? (changed it when i first bought the car about 2 years ago !!)

Foer the sake of a few quid I'd change it for peace of mind

The manual says every 12 months, guess I'd better change mine then
