Could my plugs cause my sudden low end pinking??

Changed my plugs a month or two ago and have noticed pinking around the 2.5 to 3k rev range. I thought i would put a better plug in and went for a set of (colder range for hotter engine) Nippon Denso iridiums, could this be the cause or do i realy have to put it back on the rollers? :?

easy answer check ur plugs, if there corroded or burn off then yes ur pluggs are shite!!
