I pressume that putting colder plugs in a standard engine is ok? I want to put them in when doing the service as I might be upping the boost later in the year. Does this have any adverse affects?

The colder the plug the more likely it is to foul on cold starts etc, especially if you do alot of short journeys. I put 8's in mine and have had it flood and not start once, but this was after 2 weeks of 5 min drives to work and back only (not really ideal R use). As long as you go for a good blast now and again you should have no probs.
