clutch problem?????

When clutch is down there is no noise but when depressed there is a rattling noise.
Also becoming hard to put into 1st and 2nd gear. Could this just be the clutch release bearing????

hi there what you have said sounds like the clutch is u/s when you press the clutch doun your putting the bearing under pressure this will stop the noise looks like you will need new clutch mate this will also give you problems selecting gears to hope this helps

thats wrong davey:doh: when its shut it should look like its open a little, but when its a jar it should actually be a measuring jug!
