clutch, i think

Im pretty sure my clutch is the problem here but just want some thoughts.

Right; on standard boost the car is fine, boosts perfect and goes as it should through all the gears. No problem.:)

Turn the boost up to the normal 1.2 bar or even just 1 bar and through 1st, 2nd and 3rd its pulls fine. Put it into 4th or 5th and accelerate hard up to about 4000rpm and all of a sudden the revs fly up like its wheel spinning and the boost gauge spins round to 1.5 bar.

Now my first thought of course was that the clutch is shagged but why is it overboosting when the revs fly up. Im using an Apexi AVCR which should limit the boost surely.:?

What do reckon ? get a new clutch and see what it does.

Unless it is actually wheel spinning which I doudt... your clutch is slipping. Can't explain why your boost goes up to 1.5bar though. May be due to loss of load as the clutch give way.
Ideal time to jump on that group buy for a new clutch...;-)
