adj fuel regulators

been looking at the sard adjustable fuel regulators and other regulators. It looks like they sit in place of the original nissan one and just clip strait in but what fitting do u choose on the regulator? Choice of -6AN fittings or 8AN nipples?:doh:

i dont want to steal the tread, but i have just bought a sard and was wondering how you get to the presure you need but without a gauge?
