Sorry for late reply,
Yes got back fine on saturday, was busy sunday so i didn't get to drive it and woke up monday and it was buried in snow!! Was gutted, two years wanting to buy one and couldnt drive it for the entire week!!
Been able to do some work to it this week, fitted the gear lever that you kindly donated where some deviant had chewed half of it off, lowered the boost so the clutch doesn't slip, adjusted tracking, sorted the locks doing spasms because of the bonet alarm switch and removed the christmas lights from under the headlights! lol
So yeah will be saving up for a clutch and possibly a head gasket too so i can turn the boost up again, though i'm more than happy driving it at .5-6 at the moment which is quick enough for me as my last car was a ford fiesta 1.2!!
So yeah really happy with it mate, will no doubt be in touch again for some more bits! Thanks again mate. ;-)

you wont need to do a headgasket just to turn the boost up dave, you should be able to comfortably run 1.2 on stock gasket, then if it ever does blow then do it then when needed!

Yeah i've even heard of people running 1.5 with standard head gasket, not that i'll ever attempt to do that but i just thought as i'm taking the engine out i might whiz the head off and shoot a few birds in one go.
