No he rang me for an update but could hardly hear me over the noise of the annoying commentator.

I got there about 9.15ish. My arms are bright red and nipping abit. For once I put some factor 30 on my head and it seems OK (at the moment)

Lou wasn't running. I guess his car wasn't ready on time.

I didn't see much of the drag racing. I killed 2 pulsars watching it:oops: Ollie Clark in the Subaru seemed to be realy good on the handling, running mid 48s. The pulsars I saw were about 56s and over.

I think Andy Forrest ran a 9.6 upto me leaving. Keith Cowie and someone else also had 9.6s I think.

I spent quite a while totty watching. there were alot of fit birds about today with plenty of skin on show:whistle:

Oh, that's who he was. I saw him do a 56 on the handling I don't know if that was his fastest or not. That was pretty good, the fastest Scoobies/Evos were doing 48.5ish. I don't know what he did on the strip.

well i was out not to embarass my self and it seems i did:doh: oh well didnt harm it and drove it home a little pissed off with how it performed it was so hot you couldnt touch my paint work i think my best on the ciercuit was a minnit dead only did two runs. the best quarter was a 13.8 which is over a second slower than it ran the prevous meeting posserbly to much nos and a lack of a boost controller which i was hoping to have it fitted on wensday but they let me down, also the the car was constantly over heating the gear oil was so thin that changing gear wassnt easy, on that run fastguy when i went in to 3rd i was greeted with a solid wall then my swety hand slipped of and flew in to the hazzard swich. even with all these issues i had all the over sponserd stupid money cars to the 8th one i held of up to the quarter:thumbsup:

Haha thanks

Best was a 54.? on the handling and a 12.6 on the drag.

Cars not really set up for a drag racing, but I wasn’t expecting big things in that discipline.

However the handling was where it was at. I personally felt I could have shaved off another second or two from that class. On my last run on the handing circuit I launched at 5.5 – 6k rpm and was flat out through the 1st couple of corners, however as my brakes had cooled over dinner they were not up to temperature and I ended up locking a wheel and ballsing up my run. Shame really, as I was going for it and really thought I could have shaved that second or even two off my best; but barring that I was happy with 54 seconds.

I’ll post some pics up when I’m home and add a better report of the day
