In that case, I'll book mine too.
I'm hoping to make it down...Where are all the pulsars hiding?? There was a good turn out last year for the OC even tho i got major case of the wind burn and a few cheeky pints down my neck.
I hope to see you out and about Andy and George.
Give me a shout if you want to meet up and have a natter with us all: 07738 177577 :thumb:
I will do mate... You have my number don't you?? so you don't think im a cold caller
You mob number end in: 5877?
ill be there around 11ish but not in the R as its waiting to be mapped. but im sure ill find a few of you round about stud near the R's! so ill come & say hello!
ye thats it andy... See you soon!
Where were people planning to park? - I was thinking about parking around Clay Hill; pretty close to where our stand usually is anyway.
I'm a creature of habit, and that's reasonably central between somewhere like Druids for watching Time Attack and Knickerbrook for the drifting.
I'm in the car park with the rest of the plebs who haven't brought their show cars!
Not bothered about parking, I've got my trainers on so walking will be on my agenda.
Was a good day today and a good turnout! Was also good to see a couple of pulsars there too!
Actually it wasn't as good as it usually is. I think it lacked some of the excitement from the big name tuners running cars; that's the most empty I've ever seen the pit carpark area.
Plus you didn't stop when I tried to wave you down so that Andy and I could introduce ourselves.
Just for you...
I was disappointed to discover that this "Drift Taxi" was not the one you could have a ride in.
That looks much more interesting than their watered-down circuit.
Extra cooling for the RX7.
This is the Sumo Power Nismo car (to promote their new Nismo dealership).
The 6R4 had some kind of engine fire and got filled with extinguisher powder. and towed back to the pits (but it was back out once they'd cleaned it all out).
Just a couple more..
Two callipers on this V8 350Z - one for the handbrake and one for the foot?
This was the only one I saw and didn't recognise. Anyone on here?
I was interested in the carbon wheel arches, but I think that front bumper has seen better days.
I think that pulsar is in the styling section asking for advice on those carbon arches...
There cant be many other pulsars with that styling modification.
I like the menicing look of it.
Did the dd gtir make an appearance .
lol that cars in bits
Ah sorry mate, was that you I drove passed then? I just didnt think! Lol!
The whole event was pants!
No atmosphere, selection of Pro Tuner cars was poor the drifting was atrocious and numbers were poor.
There seems to be a whole load of politics with this years TA season since they moved to Pirelli tyres from Toyo. Most of what I've read on the MLR from people having a whine about moving away from 888 tyres and having to use performance Pirelli road tyres (boohoohoo!!!)
However what I did enjoy was the "Club" competitors blasting round the track, really good to see the club competitors go at it - a real "ave it" attitude!
Its a shame that its like this, hopefully the event will busy up throughout the year!
Got a few pic's from the day.
Have more which I will add later...
so no sign of the gobstopper II or mr norris in his green bogey
