right guys iv had it gonna get rid i did my head gasket the other day and managed to rip one of the pipes on the back of the engine just like to say youv'e been a great help but its time to but another m3 :cry:

dont give up. sort it out and you might get trouble free motoring once done. i had to go through alot before my car was behaving. most of the trouble i had was self inflicted.

oh i'll have another in a couple of years its just we want to move house crimbo have been layed off etc etc i do love them and it will be a sad day she has been my baby

i did not want rid of mine but i was just thrown money at it. lucky for me i did as it dropped piston 2 weeks later and that would have made the car scrap in my eyes.

m3's are bloody good cars

sounds like you like m3s, and not likeing the pulsars, so why dont you stick with the bmw and not go back to the R? what will you miss the reliability?!!!
