Does anyone know a company that offers temp cover for the GTiR? I've only got 2 more weeks to use with my current insures A plan. I rang up today to get a weeks cover so i can get it in a garage for work, but after that week i have 2 occasions of a weeks insurance to last until next march. Ive tried all the normal one's that come up when you google it. Most wont do over group 17 or over 10years old. any ideas??

I have had the same non-luck in the past too. It seems no-one wants to provide temporary insurance on a Pulsar, regardless of driver's age and/or experience.

If you do find a company *gullible* enough please let us know!!!! ;)

Who are the ones associated with A-Plan? I'm sure they gave me temporary cover to test-drive my car and get it home.

Im pretty sure a few people have had this issue and I think im yet to see a concrete answer who will offer cover due to the age and performance of the R.

Cant you just take insurance out on need be basis then cancel it when your its not needed, ues you'll pay a cancellation fee but may well work out at some cost as temp cover.

Also another option is to take the policy out and then suspend it, you'll still be paying out but come next year you'll get the suspended months back on the renewal and you can activate the cover whenevers needed.

Only things I could think of that may sort the issue out.

    Hey Guys,

Know this thread is getting older now but I just got a quote from Adrian Flux for 1 month, £180. Thats on an Import GTiR, alloys, airfilter and exhaust declared. CAT1 alarm/immob. Social use only. 0 no-claims for a 25 year old.

Not bad I dont think for temp cover... Call them on 08007831392
