The only sump upgrade worth a toss is probably dry sumping the bastard thing I doubt a slightly bigger standard sump would really help much, I lot of people are running over 500 bhp through their standard sumps me included so it's not really a priority matey.

The upgrade would be a baffled sump rather than a bigger one surely? - I'm not aware of one, so like Rob says; dry sumping is probably the best alternative.

I just like anything mate age taking its toll alot are dented the coating on the inside is starting to come off etc. i know there different bolt pattern but 200sx ones have longer ,deeper, baffled options and some have a gate type system. I know you can just run slightly more oil just thought the price of new ones these days if anyone had a contact or the skills to come up with something that would be cost effective and just bolt on as dry sump is probably overkill for what i need

Baffled and i know its tight for space but longer or something holding more oil in it is a majour advantage surly
again oil surge is not a massive problem i know but it dose happen to a point

Your kind of trying to reinvent the wheel here with something that works fine.

As Rob has mentioned, unless you go for a dry sump system, the standard unit will be fine.

I run slicks on track and the standard sump is baffled enough to cope with cornering forces/speeds.

If your that bothered, buy a brand new sump from Nissan or Blue Print parts for piece of mind.
