New Forum Software

Hi all,

I am hoping we will be transferring to the new software later today / over the course of the weekend.

I am not expecting any errors and members should be able to log in with all their original details.

Forums / member details / log in details / private messages / threads and posts / avatars and signatures should all be the same.

There is a lot of work to do on the new site with regards colours, sorting out forums, add ons etc but will be doing things straight away.

I will be keeping this site open still with a link from the new site with certain forums open still in case we encounter any problems.

If you have any queries, feel free to pm me or post in here.

Ok,

The site has now moved so hope everyone can log in.

If you type in www.gtiroc.com I believe some may have a problem which is being rectified.

If you do have a problem seeing the site, type www.gtiroc.com/forums and that should be fine.

Is there any way we can have a Recent Post page like there was on the last Forums Home page or link button like New Post one.

There already is.

New posts button visible all the time, but post won't show as soon as you've read them.
And a Recent post button top right just above the red bar when you're in a forum looking at all the threads. (not in a thread itself)

EDIT actually it's an intermittent one. Hit new posts and you'll see it where I said, but it's not always there.

Got it now. Just I am always dropping in, quickly spot/scan something of interest while at work then stop to read it later. Always loosing where posts are as I don't tend to take note lol. Always found a Recent post Home page like we had, very use full and quick way to keep tabs on the most active areas and topics.
