Need help with Cylinder head rebuild

I've had my gtir in boxes for 3 years and I'm now rebuilding it. Having a brain fart with the shimming and pivots.



Which way round do the spring clips go picture 1 or 2? Also are there washers fitted underneath the squirters? I went to shim my valve caps and there was about 2mm gap which I'm certain is too much considering the spec is .260mm. Can't work out where to make up the play. Cheers guys.

But i have a pulsar so I have solid lifters hope this helps I just did my cams valve springs and put veritable cam sprockets on and new valve cover gasket

One thing I always remember is it never hurts to take a lot of pictures before taking things apart especially when there's not very many schematics out there

I've been trying to do so as I go along, it's definitely saved my bacon a few times now. I just can't find any information on the rear end of the rocker setup. Been looking for a parts diagram, but again I can't find one anywhere. Consulting your picture I've already noticed my splash guard is in the wrong place . Thanks for the help.
