Just coming home through hemel and i saw a garage with 5 mitsubishi evo's in Its the evo 4's. Only £6495 on p reg,, what's people's view on this model, seems like a good car for the money and i'd have loads left over.

dont get an evo 4 mate they were the bad egg of the bunch
hi compression (9:1 if i remember right)
no wide track
no brembos (some are retro fitted though)
horrid kit

if i was gonna buy a evo round that sort of price i would get a 5as they arent being imported anymore and will hold value well and look awesome all styling got softer from then on

If i was you i'd buy a very cheap base gtir and then get in touch with Rishi and have him spec and supply all the bits and bobs for 500bhp+ engine, look into a ppg or braced quaife box, lightweight wheels, carbon goodies, ap brakes, tein suspension and then find a decent bodyshop to make it look pretty.

Chris, my brother's immaculate 350-380bhp (depending on boost, but he runs it lowish) 52k miles White EVO 5 (RC tuned) is for sale for £12k.

He also has AP 6 pot brakes with new discs, uprated Cusco ARB's, full customised white leather, new Goodyear F1's, and loads of ICE (which can be taken out but was in the car when he bought it).

He had somone just recently pull-out due to insurance (which has apparantly gone up on Evos since Top Gear recently featured them again!) that was due to view it last weekend, and there seems to be loads for sale at the moment, it doesn' help when he lives in the corner of South West Wales which is too far for most to view.

Cant see the pic's :?
If you or your brother owned it then i know its gonna be well looked after.

Dean: i had actually thought about another pulsar, went to view a M reg today, it was a dog  was gonna start again, but this car needed to much work.

Evo 4's look nice but i'm listening to people on hear and not bothering.

Viewing an Evo 5 in white hopefully this saturday. :)

Chris, you've stepped away from the comfort of R ownership once and sadly had your fingers burnt, heed the signs and don't do it again mate, 500bhp Pulsars are the future :D
